The Binvaals

The Binvaals are the royal family of a nation by the same name from Jo's D&D setting Deltarra. Jo and I created the Binvaals initially as a way to give a backstory to one of Gymnos's sons, Prince Valafaar, but we eventually mused more about the nation of Binvaal and decided to develop more of Valafaar's family. A lot of the NPCs or world building that I contribute to Deltarra is based on my experience being Latin American, the Binvaals as a royal family strongly resemble the kinds of people that came from Spain and colonized Cuba, so a lot of their culture is based off of my experience with and as a white Cuban.
